Angry A little peeved about Nabisco Rebate

I received a post card today that said I did not include proof of purchase for at least 20 valid Kraft products. The post card also said to call (800) 336-1096 for questions.

Um...this number isn't valid. I have tried to several times and had a friend try it in case I was mis-dialing it.

I emailed Kraft for a list of the valid products so I know the 6 boxes of Mac & Cheese crackers, 4 bags of Nabisco cookies, 5 pks of Caprisuns, and 5 single serve cups of Easy Mac are all valid participating products.

I circled the items, purchase prices and dates purchased on my receipts. I included the rebate form. It does not say that proof of purchase UPCs are required to be included in the rebate.

So I guess I will have to email them and see what kind of response I get. Cross your fingers...

Humm, I did not include the UPCs either because they were not required according the the order form and I hate cutting up all my boxes.

Please, please let us know right away what they say! Haven't sent mine in yet, but know for sure I threw out several UPCs. I e-mailed them a couple of times about the list, so I'll e-mail that person again, too.

I follow a couple other forums and everyone seems to have received these lil postcards. The rebate did not say to mail in UPCs. Its very frustrating. I maybe have 5 boxes left of crackers, but everything else is long gone. Looks like we are all outta luck on this one. Not sure what we can do.???

I just sent mine in this week, but I would not be surprised if this happens to me too. I donated all the Easy Mac so they are gone.

I had the same problem.When i called them i told them that i would just stop buying their products.I also told them that i would advise all of my friends and family how they promote things and then don't follow through.
Well about a week later i received my rebate and 4 coupons for
any Nabisco cookies or crackers for FREE!!
You just have to call and get rude sometimes with people.

I received this also. I called the number on the Kraft foods website and was told they would call me back, which they did 2 days later. They have 2 rebates going and the promotions dept is confusing the details on them. The back to school rebate does NOT require upc's. The other rebate does. The person I spoke to was very apologetic. On the return call I was assured I would get my check. I suggest that everyone that has this problem give them a call right away. Maybe if they get enough calls they will fix this problem. HTH

I guess just always include upc's even if not asked for? That might help them get it right if they have to count every upc that comes in, lol

I called and emailed them last week and haven't heard a thing back. Very frustrating. I am sick to death of getting *$#@'ed by these big companies. I guess I'll get nasty tomorrow.
