Does anyone know of any Walmarts in the Tampa area that have these weather radios? I've been to two Walmarts and no luck.

Whoo Hoo! I went today and these look cool! I'm going to keep one for myself and may give the others as gifts! Thanks so much for the tip!

Forgot to mention, mine were marked down to $45.

Wow, very cool for you! Even covers the cost of your stamp to mail it in!

I noticed in Wal-Mart last night that they only had one left on the rack. Last week when I got mine, there were probably 15-20 of them.

Thumbs down just to let you know

we live in a rural area, and we bought 2 of these a few days ago, and a uncle bought one also, they will not pick up signal in our area,we called the company and was told they will only work in certain areas, we live about 4 hours from memphis, tn. and that was the closest major area they showed would pick up. we bought one as a gift also, but will be returning it since my father in law lives down the road from us, it won't work for him either.
even though they are technically free, we don't need another clock, and that's all its good for in our case. it won't pick up any programming at all.

Just wanted to let anyone know, because, Wal mart is aggravating sometimes on their returns and if you buy one now as a present you won't be able to return it after christmas.

Checked online and there are only 5 or 6 major cities in Ohio this will pick up weather for. The closest is an hour south of my home and the temperature can fluctuate up to 5 degrees or so different from there to where I live, as well as the weather. I would purchase this product if I could get accurate readings for where I live. Please keep this in mind before purchasing this product. Will it make sense for you to buy it and will it work for you.

Sorry to hear about the problems the above posters had. Luckily I live just outside of Hartford and this has worked great since last night. Remember to read the directions and it says it may need to be near a window. It's kind of cool to just glance over at the thing and know the forecast. Actually, last night it showed a picture of clouds and rain. My husband said, "It's not raining. Why does it show that picture?". Well, sure enough, a couple hours later it was raining. Have to remember it predicts the weather and doesn't necessarily reflect the current weather.

You can also go to http://map.myambient.com to see if your location has network coverage before buying it.

I bought 3 in Columbus, Ohio. I really had forgotten about the deal but had to run to Walmart for a emergency toilet wax ring as my DS had clogged the toilet with a Hubba Bubba gum package DH had to pull the whole toilet. Walked right by them in paint/plumming section, found on an side aisle display, rebate attached.

I live about 30 minutes from Columbus but am picking up a signal fine. Had to move it from the front of the refrigerator to the side though to get the best signal (has a magnetic back). Instructions say if you can't get a signal try moving it to another location or closer to a window.

I got an email last night from Bushnell confirming they received my rebate request and asking me to please allow the full 6-8 weeks to process it.
