I'e never seen a rebate yet that will accept a copy of a receipt. Can you take one item back for a refund and re-ring as a separate transaction?
If a fool and their $$ is easily parted, then I must be a genius!
thanks......it was on sale lost out on this but no more!!!!!![]()
I sent in 3 rebates this month for DVD's, All three said copies of receipts were ok. I have already received two of the rebate checks so I know it was fine. Read your rebate form closely, most will indicate if original receipts are needed or if copies are ok.

I think a good policy is to be sure those transactions are separated. Though if you are working a deal where you make money with the rebate it will be more prominent when the rebate item is by itself on the reciept.
I've seen where copies are allowed too...
Of course always keep a copy for your records.. note on the copy when you sent... and date you expect (6-8weeks) the check in the mail.
and as one x-rebate processor says... circle with a pencil or pen... NEVER highlight since it creates a black mark on the reciept after time.
have fun!

A penny saved was not a good sale....
