Default New to Sending in Rebates. Quick Question

So i Just bought the 2 Natural Dentist Mouth Rinses and there it a $10 Rebate. They asked for the UPC codes which i took off but should i just stick them onto a piece of paper and put that in the envelope?

For rebates I always read all the fine print.

But as a general rule rebates usually ask for a rebate form to be filled out, UPC codes and cash register receipt with amount circled. I have never put the UPC on a piece of paper - but I don't think it would hurt anything.

I always put my name (& address if room) on the back. Also put your name somewhere on the receipt. That way, if they get separated there is a chance they'll get found again.

If you do tape, don't use too much tape. Be sure to read the rebate well. Some specify NOT to tape or staple. If you don't follow directions, they can deny the reimbursement. They are very very picky with dates - don't be late getting them mailed.

I am also new to the rebate game. And wondered abou that same thing so thanks for asking and the great answers.

I have another rebate question, if somebody with experience could answer?

If the rebate is for multiple items do they usually want to see only one reciept? In other words what if I have bought 3/5 items at one store and is on one receipt then the other 2 items were bought at another store and has a seperate receipt - is that generally ok?

Look carefully at what the rebate form states for the recipt[s]. If they say receiptS..Then you can do the purchases on multiple receipts. If it says one receipt OR receipT..Then go with all on one receipt. Don;t chance it on more tha one receipt if not sure if allowed or not.

Oh wow . . . thanks so much!I've never done a whole lot with rebates and have just started again. I got a $5.00 one from Over The Moon Friday and am definitely pursuing more rebates.

Another helpful tip is to use address labels to affix to where it asks for your name and address. Then it is clear for the processor to send out the rebate.

I staple UPC, receipt (or copy), and rebate form together.

Also do EXACTLY what the rebate form says.

I make a copy and tape to office wall or put in a specific file folder.
