Be careful with hangtag rebates!

Today I saw a hangtag rebate on Dawn Direct Foam with the only info on it was Love at First Pump or YMB and just the dawn website for more info. I almost bought it outright. Glad I didn't, when I went on the website the offer was from 11/2007 to 7/2008...EXPIRED!!
Makes me wonder though, WHY are these tags still floating around on product 8 months later..hmmm

Not just the hangtags.
I was loading up on cereal at Publix, saw a peelie on one and grabbed it. Got to the register and the cashier told me the darn thing had already expired. She said she sees this happen all the time-makes you wonder how long an item's been on the shelf.

I've had the same thing happen to me! I bought a Physician's Formula brow pencil/tweezer but the rebate had expired on 12/31!

Same thing here - Hunt's Ketchup with Peelie for full refund of purchase price - cpn expired 11-2008

I guess Products are staying on the shelf longer ?

I'm thinking the stockers are not rotating and just putting product in front and not behind. They should put the new stuff in the back.
