Pillsbury Buy 4 and save $4 at check out

Randalls had a tag in the refrigerated biscuit area stating :buy 4 Pillsbury participating products and receive $4 instant credit at checkout.

I bought 2 crescent rolls at $ 1.75 ea and 2 Cinnamon Rolls at @1.50 each and used the MF coupons getting the total cost of all four items down to $3.50.

Unfortunately when reviewing my receipt the $4 savings was not included, so had to return and talk to customer service manager and have the $4.00 refunded.

Moral to the story, if trying to optimize this deal you must check your reciept because the register is clearly clueless about this special deal.

I'm late reading this, but the same thing happened to me (I even bought the same 4 items) and I didn't get any "instant credit" or a Catalina like I was expecting. I e-mailed Pillsbury to ask what the offer was, because I was planning to buy more, but all they said when they replied was it was a "store deal" and that they had put a check for $4 in the mail to me. I still have no idea how that was meant to work.
