So I'm trying to put together a list of 10 good things to get with the mega event sale... So far I've only come up with 8.

3 Gatorade- $0.50 each ($1/3 MQ from tearpad.... only have one ) = 17 c each
2 Carnation Evap Milk- $0.79 each ($0.50/2 MQ doubled) = 29 c each
1 Temptations cat treats- $0.99 ($0.75 MQ doubled) = FREE
2 Uncle Ben's Brown microwave rice- $1.49 each ($1/1 MQ) = $0.50 each

Any other ideas???

Also, I'm so there this afternoon for the $1 Doritos and $0.67 Nestle candy ($1.67, use $1 IP).

Thank God for the stockpile!! I have been doing this since Feb and this is the longest stretch I have seen where I didn't load up on stuff. I have done a bit of stock pile shopping on things like butter and cooking oil from WM and I did get a lot of flour and sugar from Stater Bros. Other than those and few other really great deals I think this last 6 weeks or so has mostly been a milk, eggs, some fresh produce and those odds and ends you need to tie a meal together.

But here is what I did do for the Mega 10 at Ralphs:

Hormel Chili .88 (I didn't have the Q in my insert)
Kleenex
Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa - although it's 85 degrees here today!!!!!

My cats love treats, probably too much so these worked out good. And I got a bunch of the evaporated milk to use in holiday baking.

I agree that the sales are rather crummy the last couple months, thank heavens for stockpiles!
