Default Official Publix Coupon Policy

I love shopping at Publix because if you know their coupon policy and take advantage of all of the opportunities, you can really save. One of our site members emailed Publix's customer service asking for a detailed policy statement and this is what she received. I will also add that on Sundays and Mondays there is a 1 cent Mystery coupon but I think you all know that!

"In a message dated 12/11/2008 11:58:02 A.M. Eastern Standard Time,
Consumer.Relations@publix.com writes:

Thank you for your email. We appreciate our customers taking the time to
contact us. Below you will find our coupon guidelines:

We will always comply with all rules and regulations that are printed on a
coupon.

If a product is on a Buy One and Get One Free promotion you can use one
manufacturer's coupon on each item.

If a product is purchased with a Buy One and Get One Free manufacturer
coupon no other manufacturer's coupon can be used on the same item.

There is a limit of one Manufacturer's coupon and one Publix coupon per itemif no limit is mentioned.

Publix will accept "cents off" Internet Coupons. We will not accept "free
product" Internet coupons. We also reserve the right to reject any Internetcoupon that does not appear to be legitimate or does not scan properly. Internet coupons valued over $5.00 should be approved by a Manager or Customer Service Team Leader.

We accept traditional supermarket competitor coupons. Please see your store manager for more details, as there is no written policy on this.

In the Atlanta division, we will double manufacturer coupons up to .50
cents.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact us. If we can be of any
further assistance regarding this matter, please either call our Consumer
Relations toll-free number at 1-800-242-1227, write us at the Publix Super Markets Corporate Office, PO Box 407, Lakeland, FL 33802, ATTN: Consumer Relations, or contact us at our website, publix.com

Do you think I can use this post if I have a problem with a cashier?

Was thinking about printing it and keeping it in my binder.

Thanks so much Stephanie!

Oh yes, I already printed it and have Targets policy in my purse....sometimes the cashiers are just unaware of what policy is and if done with respect (showing the policy) it is very effective....well its prolly effective either way but respectful is always nice....

My Publix just refused to accept my coupons when I gave them one Manufacturer's coupon and one Publix coupon each for the two Revlon items I was purchasing. As a result, I left the store without purchasing anything. I'm printing off the guidelines to keep with me if this happens again. Thanks so much, Stephanie.

So the will double a man Q automatically up to 50 cents or do you need to tell them to? My reason is, I have been debating switching to publix from walmart. I have 3 Publix,2 walmarts,1 ingles,3 bilo's, 5 CVS's and 5 WAGS (they always build them across the street from each other.lol) with in a 5-10 mile radius from my house. So as long as my Q is 50 cents or under they will double it? If I use a Q for 75 cents will they add 50 cents to it, or am I just asking too much...

The 1 cent item and the doubling are not everywhere. Here in Florida we get neither of these promotions.

they will only double up to .50 coupons. A .75 coupon will only be deducted at face value.
