Default My Shopping trips at Publix...

I am new to using coupons at Publix however, I think I am getting really good at this...
In the last few months I have gotten diaper big boxes for 12.50 each, free products like wipes baby food etc... and now using target coupons plus mf coupons...
I really love using wd coupons at publix because I dont like making alot of stops with children lol..

Anyways here is my deals so far in the last weeks

new york strips 3~ 7.87 -5 coupon from wd mailer
bogo sour cream 1.03 - 1.00 dairy publix mailer
and some baby food that was cheap

this past week
got the speical k cereal it was really good this am... even the kids loved it and some other bogo deals with lots of coupons

but most deal was today

ok 16 boxes of keg's cereal, 5 bags of apples, gallon of milk,3 bags of marshallows, 6 jars of baby food, sprite 2 liter, 4 jj juice..

grand total was 20.84, should have been 19.84 but I was not going to freak cus the dude was really nice and over ridden the amount of coupons I had.. so 1 buck was ok. but here is the deals I got

16 boxes of cereal had 75 cents off coupons on the boxes plus 1 off from target. used 1 set per box. made them .29.5 cents each box

Apples yes 1 off from target made them .99 cents for 3 lbs on all already for 1.99
jucie was 1.32 used 1 off x 2
milk was on sale 3.09

3x marshmallows were free from a coupon on the cocoo cereal...

baby food was 1 off 3 jars so 6 cents a jar....

got that coupon from the news letter of beech nut...

Saved $88.22

All I can say is my kids will be eating alot of apples and cereal this week!!!

thank you all for so much useful info
I am now hooked for sure!!!

Default Great Job!

isn't it so much fun, and such a great way to contribute to the family finances! Don't forget that you can use Wags $5/25 Q too! makes it an even better deal.

great job! - I am also new to Publix and if I had not read this forum I would have not known about the 5/25 Wags Q that they gladly accepted. And I thought I would never get free cereal but finally I got some - only got 4 boxes because I thought there must be some catch - like they would accept so many Target Q's, etc. - but not one problem - when I first started reading this forum about how many boxes of cereal fellow couponers had stockpiled - I was amazed - now I can say I have at least 20 boxes of cereal in the pantry! Going back tomorrow to get more cereal to donate!!

Default Publix and Coupons at My Publix

I am confused...at one Publix near my house, they say no more BJ coupons, but the other one no problem. Then both of them say no Target, CVS or Walgreens. You guys must have great Publix where you are at. Believe me, they are nice and I have a lot of coupons every week, but I sure would like to use the Target and Walgreens....any suggestions....Thanks

Hey Proudnana -

From what I can see, what Publix will take seems to be a YMMV type deal. Mine has NEVER taken BJ's, and now won't take Whole Foods (or, as my bro calls them, "Whole Paycheck"). They will, however, take just about anything else... Target, Walgreens, CVS, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Food Lion, and Winn Dixie... probably because of the proximity of these places. We don't even have an Albertson's left in our county any more, so they aren't accepting that either. Mine told me that because BJ's was a warehouse club, they weren't considered to be a "competitor". Because my bro has a Whole Foods within several blocks of his Publix, theirs WILL take a Whole Foods Q.
