Pay close attention to this deal....as Pilsbury is part of general mills!!
I bought: (4) Pilsbury Simply bake cookies @ 3/$6 (or $2 each )I used: (4) $1/1 Pilsbury Simply baked cookies PLUS: In ad coupon.....$4 off general mills/nature valley products wyb (4) 5oz. or larger. The pilsbury simply bake cookies are 12 oz packages and on the back of the package under the nutrition section fine print, it is indeed made by GENERAL MILLS which qualifies to use the in ad coupon!! ![]() Result: I got them all for FREE!! ![]() Hope that helps someone with their shopping this week!!

Thanks for this tip! I was wondering if every GM product is actually labeled with 'General Mills' somewhere. I read on another site that the Muir Glen organic products were owned by GM but did not see it on the tomato sauce products. I did the deal yesterday and told the cashier what products I had that fit the coupon and she was nice and didn't try to find it on the label. Good thing!
Does anyone know if every single GM product (PRogresso, Muir Glen, Old El Paso, Yoplait) has it on the label??? TIA! |

I showed the cashier where in the fine print of the man. coupon for Pillsbury it said 'send to General Mills'. If its not on the label it should be on the man. coupon.

FYI, if your Publix doesn't honor these deals, it's because there was a misprint in that in-store Q. It was intended only for cereals.
you can read the discussion here: Quick Publix trip

I ran by again today and did the $4 deal, didn't buy cereal and had no hassle at the register. This time I did 2 of the Simply Cookies and 2 Old El Paso items. The cashier didn't say a thing. I had a handful of coupons, including a $5/$25 Piggly Wiggly Q, this 4 GM Q, $3 FLIP for bakery/deli and lots of MQ's. The total was $25.76 and OOP was $6.32. Not bad for a quick 10-min. sidetrack trip!

Thanks, Cherry. This is a great deal.
The q's are in 9/13 GM ($1) and 10/4 GM ($0.55).

Did this deal today. When I handed the cashier the $4 Q, she asked if I bought cereal. I said no, but I got 4 cookies which are general mills products, and I asked the manager when I came in if the Q was for ANY GM products. the Manager said yes. Cashier had no issues with this.

I bought 4 Progresso High Fiber soup with 4- 1.10 Qs. The Qs have General Mill on them. When I gave the cashier the 4.00 Q for General Mill she didn't even look to see which GM products I was buying. (The soups were .19 each.) Hope they are good.
I am going back this morning and haven't decided if I shouold buy more soup or the cookies. (We don't need the cookies but they look good.) |
