Question about mfq cpn and competitor cpn

I am shopping at one PUBLIX does accept all kind of coupons. I used some BJ's coupons today and the cashier asked the manager if I can stack one competitor and one mfq for an item; he says YES if the coupons will not exceed the price, and I knew it did not.

I just want to make sure that this is correct:

2 GM granola bars, $3.34 x 2 = $6.68
1 BJ $5.00
2 0.40 cpn

Total 0.88 for two

yes, you are right. you can combine any store q or competitor q and man q on a purchase at publix. i had an issue about 2 months ago on this and half the store didn't know you could do it. the sale ended that night and i didn't get my items. i called the manager the next morning and she said of course i could combine a com. and man. q for one item. she even let me get the stuff i had tried to get the night before for the sale price, even though the sale was over.
