Bad experience at Pathmark today

I tried doing the Kimberly-Clark deal at Pathmark tonight and it did not work!!! It was buy $30 worth of items purchased and you get $5 back.

I bought 1 Huggies Pull Ups at 8.99
1 Huggies #3 Diapers @ 8.99
5 Huggies washcloths @ 2.5 each
1 box Kotex at $2.89

My total before Q's were $30 and change. With my Q's it came down to $21. Then no $5 catalina printed out! I shower the cashier the page for the deal since she had no idea what I was talking about. She said my total came out to $21 not $30 and I said I know but I am buying $30 WORTH of items. She called someone who told me the same thing. THe second lady called the manager and he said the same thing and I said we did the Kraft deal last week and the Lysol deal with coupons and the catalinas for $5 printed out. He said "that must be a fluke because I've never seen that happen before". I said , we did it SIX times. THe final answer was that I was wrong and he was right. I am calling customer service on Monday because I know I am right and other people on this board were able to do the same last week!!!

Yesterday 30May09 Saturday eve I did the Dannon Deal at PM in NJ.Buy 12$ worth and get 3$ Coupon towards next purchase.

3 Dannon Crushable at 2.00 each
3 Dannon Dannimals bottles at 2.00 each

Used 6 1.00 mq for Dannon Dannimals
Total paid for these was 6.00 I had other items like 4 Mentos,8 Beyers yogurt and Wesson Canola.
Well the coupon did not print.I pointed the same out to the AM who looked at the receipt and finally gave me 5.00 Catalina from a folder saying that "Sorry abt that but we dont have a 3.00 one you may take 5.00 for the inconvenience"
What could I say?
The same AM had initially looked at and allowed any one WGs RR could be used.I used 9.00 RR and that showed as competetor coupon in the receipt.

I guess this may be the wrong thread for this,But I beleive the Catalinas are not printing properly.Now I guess the ball is in the local stores court to work that problem out.

Wow, letsroll you are lucky that they were apologetic to you and got a catalina! They looked at me like I was a crazy woman. First of all they had no clue as to what I was talking about, and the manager said that he's never seen them do this before. Grrr...well wish me luck with customer service on Monday.

You are right. The $5 should have come out. You spent $30 - but you did not pay $30. I had the same argument a few weeks ago and they gave me $5 in pathmark bucks. Stick to your guns and argue the point.
