I ended up going to Pathmark 3 times this week. The first time, I was really just checking out whether or not it was a good sale and a good store - haven't really shopped there before even though they built a new one a year or two ago. The second time was more targeted. Then, I printed some Kraft coupons and decided to give it another try. This final trip, I really searched the aisles looking for marked down and clearance items. Since it was the first day of a different sale, I created my list using Coupon Mom's Search by State and took advantage of the new sales (gotta love those Chinet lunch plates reg 3.59, sale 2.49, $2Q so 49 cents each for 36 pack nice, big enough for dinner even though they are called 'lunch' plates!)

Here's how I did:

1) OOP: 23.24, Saved 29.14 - 18 items
2) OOP: 24.33, Saved 38.34 - 26 items (and there was an error, I was overcharged @ $3.40!)
3) OOP: 35.92, Saved 66.96 - 40 items

I ended up with many free items (French's mustard, Kraft BBQ sauce, Ken's Salad Dressing, Kraft dressing), many greatly reduced items (Uncle Ben's rice on clearance regularly 2.39, on sale for 1.7, .75 which was doubled so paid .20! Bought a bunch of these!)

Do many of you go back to the same sale several times? For me, the first time, I was pretty busy that day so trying to keep it short. The second time, again I was in a hurry but had new Qs burning in my envelopes. The third time, I went back due to an error on my previous days order but since I had a bit of extra time on my hands, really looked around. And, technically, the sale was over and it was a nice sale.
