Staples Backpack deal.....Do at your own risk

DD & I went in Friday evening to see if they had one she liked. So I asked how the deal worked and that's what they told me. Well they didn't have any she fell in love with so we got one at Bealls marked down to $17.99.

Thanks...I was going to stop by tommorrow and see what they had but now I won't go out of my way. I actually saw alot of nice ones at Target...might just hold out for a sale there because they are going to be donated anyway.

It does not pay as found same backpack at ross for 17.99 that was 40.00 at staples. My daughter did get one for 19.00 that we could not find elsewhere. We'll see if I get the rewards. But I hate when they do it for store money... during a time when they really have nothing great on sale as I only shop for school supplies there.

This worked just like all the other Staples Rewards...you buy whatever and you get a Staples gift check in the mail at the end of the quarter. I didn't think it was at all sneaky the way they did it. It's the same as it always is.

We got an excellent-quality backpack on sale for only $15, plus we'll get that full amount back. We were thrilled! We would have spent that much (at least) anyway for a backpack at any other store, so why not spend it there and get it back in a giftcard to put toward printer ink for all those IPs? :-)
