I missed out on all of the Kraft coupons!

I just bought this printer a week ago and it was only 29.00. I'm so glad I bought it when I did.

I gave WAGs a try with the last of the ESR months to get a color one filled free. It didn't print right...only in yellow.

I used to get my own refills kits at OD or OM around Christmas when they would go super cheap with BOGO sales. Now I just use OM's rewards program to feed my cartridge needs. No mess - no bother. Just pop in and go.

I used to buy full price and now I go to WAGs and have them refill it. Honestly, it lasts longer.

after my issues with the remanufactured cartridges when i first posted this link, i stumbled upon something called a cis (continuous ink system) for printers. it is a whole system where i will take the four ink cartridges out of my printer and put the system in which is four cartridges with tubes leading to bottles that sit outside my printer and i just pour ink into those. the cost is supposed to be less than 25% of what i was paying before.

i did a little research, found a seller selling them on ebay with good feedback and went and contacted every person who had bought one from that seller for my type printer. they all had great things to say and one gentleman had purchased 3, one for him, his brother and dad, and has given me so much information. the system should come in the mail today and i can get it up and running.

Not having had luck with the refills myself.....I now take the empty cartridge to Staples and wa la....yesterday I received a $10 cpn in the mail from them for 5 cartridges last month. Not quite enough to buy a whole new cartridge but enough to keep me happy.

I buy the compatible (NOT remanufactured) ink cartridges online for our Epson and Canon printers all the time. Once or twice we have not been able to get them to work, but after contacting the company and being sent a free replacement, things were OK. Occassionally, I have to run a few cleaning cycles with a new cartridge, but then it is fine. The cartridges run around $5-$6 each, and then I can bring the empties to Staples and get $3 each.

Remanufactured cartridges, which usually cost at least 30 percent less than those sold by printer original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), are a better deal for consumers.

Ink cartridges that have been remanufactured are basically ink cartridges that have been recycled and reprocessed by the professionals of the industry.
