Randalls closing!!!

I live in Houston and yesterday I went to my normal Randall's and they had a huuuuge sign saying they were closing in two weeks. When I asked the cashier they told me they didn't know why but that another one by my BFF IS CLOSING TOO. THE FUNNY THING IS they are both super Randall. I have another right by my house but its small. This sucks as Randall's is the ony store that still doubkes and triples Q's its why I don't shop Kroger. My DH wants the Kroger points but I told him if i shop there its lees food for more money.

So i was wondering if anyone else is having closures under the Safeway brand...? I know they went bankrupt a few years ago and closed ALOT of stores here.

It's Tom Thumb here and I rarely go there because it's further away but I'll have to check it out.
