Will party supply stores let me return items?

I think I bought my party supplies too early, and now I might be having a different party because my other plan might not work out. So, if I have to go with a different party, that means I won't use the things we got- and my parents won't be too happy about that. Will party supply stores let me return items if they haven't been opened?

They should! I usually buy a few extras incase extra kids show up that don't rsvp.. then I just take whatever isn't used back if I don't use them. They aren't unwrapped and haven't been used so they can be resold. I don't see a problem with it and I've never had a problem before.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you have a receipt, they are in the original unopened packages and are not clearanced items.

I recently had to do some returns from my sons Bday. Party City was completely fine with them, however the Family Dollar gave me STORE CREDIT for my return, not cash back. So always check your store policy on what they return to you =P
