Target coupon question and vent!

Can I print 2 coupons off the Target website and use them both with a manufacturer's coupon off 2 items?
Example- 2 tubs of margerine, MF for $1.00 off 2, and two target coupons for .50 off 1?


I just went to Target and when I got home I realized that I was overcharged about $5. The cashier was rude and kept arguing with me when I told her some of the coupons weren't coming off the total. Could it be because you can only print off 1 of their Target coupons even if you buy more than 1 of the product or did I just get ripped off?

I was so excited and had this trip all planned out, I'm new to really serious coupon shopping and I feel like I didn't do nearly as well as I should have. I did only spend $15.70 for $41.34 worth of goods. (Should have cost me $10.87 if she had scanned all my coupons correctly!)

I don't see any problem w/ your scenario. You can usually print 2 copies of the Target coupon. You'll discover through your couponing journey that you will have to educate these cashiers as most of them don't have a clue to their policy and will give you stupid reasons as to why it doesn't work. You'll be able to stand your ground if you are familiar w/ their policy.

Also, with the Target coupons they don't always come off at the bottom. Check by the product on the receipt to see if the coupon appears there. For example:

Butter .97
Coupon .50 off 1.47


That is usually how they show on the receipt. Plus when the cashier is scanning it shows up as "store coupon 0.00" but it shows the deduction on their screen, so keep an eye on their screen and not the one that faces you.

I have had issues with Target. One Target I go to I have had no problems, then there is another I tried and many issues! I was told that you are only able to use one Target Q for specific item per transaction, but not sure if that is entirely accurate. Check the coupon and see if it states that. Could be the issue.

I think I'm having the same issue, sorry if it's long. Last week, I went to Target and brought about 16 coupons with me, was pretty happy when I saved almost 50% off the $100 total. When I got home though and looked at my receipt, I got really frustrated. Either I really don't understand their breakdown or I'm getting ripped off. So here is what I'm confused with, hopefully it will line up correctly when I hit the send button:

The way I figure it, the Dovemen should have only cost me $3.98 for both and the Venus Breeze should have cost me $ 2.98 for both after I subtract the $5 giftcard, but that's not what the Package Total says. Please could you help me understand their numbers. Thanks so much for any help!
