Sometimes it's hard to get that deal. For the drug stores, a lot of people have good luck on Sunday mornings. At grocery stores and places like Target, it never hurts to ask if they have stock not yet shelved. Also, ask what day they receive their deliveries, most places will tell you. Finally, get a raincheck! Always, always get a raincheck. Most places are really good about it and that way you don't need to stress or feel like you have to check everyday to see if they've restocked the shelves.

    Hope that helps.

Be sure to ask at drugstores (CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid) if they have any in the back stock room.
At the Walgreens stores near me, sometimes the sale items are located in different areas of the store or above the regular shelves.
I like Rain Checks from CVS as they do not expire.
You can also ask your store(s) when they get their stock in and go the morning after.
