Wal-Mart Policy?!

I was at Wal-mart this afternoon with my mom. We were by the customer service desk. A woman came in and returned a food item. The girl took the item and put it in her cart to be put back on the shelf! I thought this was very bad. You do not know what that woman did to that food while she had it in her possession.

I am a Target employee and we do not do that. If a food item is returned it goes into the trash. It is very wasteful but ensures safety to the customers.

I really hope that Wal-Mart does not do this on a regular basis and this girl did it just this once. It made me feel very uneasy about the safety of their products.

I just wanted to vent a little!

Hmmm.. I always see carts of non-perishables that are to be re-merchandised at WM.

We saw some lunchmeat just laying in the shelves under the cash register. the lane was not open there had not been anybody there in a while. It was just laying there. spoiling.

If the non-perishables are left in the store I think they could be restocked but once they leave they should not.
