my hubs stood up to the Target coupon nazi!!

We split our Target transaction up today into 2. He went through line with my girly stuff from Olay~ bodywash and travel olay bars, plus 2 Maalox, a shower caddy and valentine card. The lady stopped his transaction (and it was soo busy). She had a fit over his $2 Olay coupon for the .97 Olay bars. She said i am not paying you 1.03 to take these bars of soap from our store and she handed him back the coupons.

He said do whatever you want but your store policy online says you are able to take them. She snarled and told him that's the online store not this store...lol! He then said no ma'am that the Target's policy that can be read online it applies to this store.

She finally got a CS over and they said did the coupon scan? Yes...Is it the right product? Yes.. than let him buy it. She asked the CS if she could reduce the coupon to .97 manually~ the CS said no we have customers waiting now! Then the CS came back and said next time call me before there is a problem we have a long line now. Funny...cause the Maalox was 4.49 and the coupon was $5. She didn't give him a hard time about that! She was soo focused on the soap.

Anyway, we went and bought soap and bodywash for me...got all the overages. And my husband didn't get pushed around.

I went to Target today to get the 2 boxes of the New Kellogs crunchy nut cereal, and the Vaseline intestive care lotion, I payed $1.50 by the way for the total, but this older cashier lady was really watching, and the last time i did the same cereal deal just days ago, she came right over to check out what was going on.
