Question Family Dollar- was she right?

I was going to buy 2 Oral B Advantage toothbrushes that were marked down to $2 each. Went to use(2) $2 on any one Oral B Pulsar, CrossAction, Advantage or two Indicator Manual Toothbrushes expires 4/30/10. It beeped, the cashier looked and read the coupon and finally told me it would not work because they were on sale for $2 and the coupon was for $2. I just chuckled inside my head and said thank you, took my coupons back and left. She was wrong wasn't she?

Yes i beleive she was wrong.I have used Q's on items for the same amount as the Q.When you do that the register normally beeps and says : valid coupon amount. That's when the cashier normally just hits the yes button and it goes through. She was just being lazy.

Nope - *you* were right! I went to FD two different times a few weeks ago, both for the Snuggle deal. I got free Snuggle both times, no questions asked...all I paid was tax. As long as you're paying tax, there shouldn't be an issue.

    doesn't mean she's lazy....maybe she's just poorly trained.
