    Default Family Dollar is lame

Went there today with 5 snuggle coupons, and starting today, they had snuggle on sale for $3. When I checked out they told me it was one per purchase. Meaning, I can only buy one... I told them that isnt what the coupon means, so they called the main manager, and he called corporate supposedly. After all was said and done, they only let me purchase 1. How rediculous is that? What difference would it make if I walked in the store 5 different times a day, rather than just getting it all at once? Id still pay the same thing... Guess its a good thing I didnt try to use all 20 coupons I have...

Hello, what size Snuggle did you get? Was it the liquid?

No, got the 70 count sheets... It was ringing up fine... But once they realized I'd be getting them for free, they started to give me trouble... How dare I get something for free! And they even questioned me on where I got my coupons, which shouldnt matter if they work right?

Sorry you went through that. That would chap my butt big time. I guess they don't realize the store gets reimbursed the full value of the q's and where did you get your coupons? That's absurd!! I would have answered with something sarcastic like "There is this new thing that comes out every Sunday. It's called the Sunday paper and they have tons of coupons in there and they're all over the country. Keep your eyes peeled, you just may see one!" If that was my DH, he would have either asked to speak to corporate right there in the store or would have bought one, walked out and right back in and bought another one and kept doing that until they got the hint.

they were only gonna let you buy 1 period or one per transaction?? If they tried to tell me I could only buy 1 I think I would have been a bit ticked....if they said 1 per transaction I would have done like Tiffany said and just kept coming back....pretty silly

Luckily, my Family Dollar is very close by, so I can just go back whenever. Which I do when the deal is good.

I went in to buy them today, and the cashier said, "I don't know if these will work or not because the Q says only 1 per purchase. I'll try to scan them all anyway." It went through without a hitch. She said she would have just rang them up one at a time otherwise. I guess this might be a YMMV situation.

They would let me buy all five, but I could only use one coupon. So Im going in again today, and if the same thing happens, Ill walk out, and walk back in and do it over and over. If I dont chicken out. May just try another store

Here is the official Family Dollar coupon policy from their website...

    Family Dollar Coupon Policy

It specifically says you CAN use multiple q's within one transaction and a limit of 2 q's PER ITEM (1 MFQ and 1 store Q). Print this off and bring it with you.
