Big Lots and coupon policy?

I have worked for Lowe's Home Centers since 1998... our computers arent set up to accept Q's like you are used to.. we have to subtract the amount of the Q from the price of the item...
Example:
If Windex rang up at $2.99 and you had a .50 Q I would have to 'change' the price to $2.49 for you to use the Q...

PS I was a manager at Lowes for 6 years... so I'm not kidding with you or trying to start any trouble!

I looked at an ad for Big Lots- it does note they do not take mqf q's.
