All kmart are doubling

I just called my closest K-Mart and was told very rudely that they will not honor double coupons at all. I then called corp and was told the same thing. However, the woman I spoke with did say that because of the huge success rate they will probably continue to do this.

I just called the customer service # and they said only 25 SUPER K-marts were offering the double coupon deal and of course none in my area If any one has gotten to take advantage of this in northeast florida please let me know. They did say they will be rolling it out again but wasn't sure about when!

I called KMart corporate offices today, and talked to a very nice lady who gave me the following information:
- the double coupons event is a marketing test that they are doing in selected Super KMarts around the country (none in my area, unfortunately)
- if it goes well, they will do it again, maybe in different areas -- so all of you who have the option, please use it for the sake of the rest of us, LOL
- they seem to be doing this on weekends, so she told me to keep calling back on weekends to find out if they are doing it
- she said they don't usually get calls about marketing strategies, but they are getting quite a few calls about this one because, drumroll, please, "there is some moms group on the internet that has been telling each other about this". We got into a whole discussion about couponing (she doesn't do it but is getting interested) and I directed her to couponmom.com.
- I told her a lot of people in my area drive 30 minutes or so to a grocery store that doubles and we'd rather drive 10 minutes to KMart, and she SAYS she's making a note of that interest.
So, my take on this is, if we want to see more of this, more of us should call corporate office and ask for it (nicely, of course)! They are taking note of call volume on this topic. Even if they only did it once a month or once a quarter or whatever, it would be a huge help for folks like me that live in rural areas with limited shopping options.

you go, girl! BTW, they did this at my Kmart a few weeks ago, and it's not a super and I "hear" through the grapevine, it will be coming back sometime around halloween, so keep your ear out for yours, too!

I posted on an earlier thread about my Kmart trips, with doubling coupons up to and including $2. I spent $16 in three trips, and saved over $210.
Free w/coupons I found are:

Glade candle holders are $2 (empty ones) and there were "Blinkies" for $2 off
Glade refills are $2, and coupons for $2 off 2 were nearby "Blinkies"too, so free
Zest 3 packs of soap were $2.19, so with $1 C just $0.19
Icebreakers gum $0.99 each if you have the $1 off 2 packs, they are free (I had 12 of these coupons!)
Loreal eye shadow reg price $3.49, with $2 off coupon free
Revlon nail polish $4.19, plus buy 1 get 1 50% off this week, with $2 coupons, just $0.19 for 2
Dove shampoo $3.79, if you have the $2 coupon (I only had 1 of these) free
Travel Neosporin, $0.99, with $0.50 coupon free
Total toothpaste (big ones!) $3, with $1.50 coupons free
Colgate Kids toothpaste $1.99, with $1 coupon free
Scrubbing bubbles new foam, $3.50 use $1 coupon so $1.50
Also I got bunch of dishtowels on clearance for $0.30 each, and an oven mitt for $0.60
Diapers if you really need them are ok deal too, Huggies $10.49, use $2 off so $6.49 after coupon for Pullups.
Grab the Beauty coupon book - look near the makeup for a black booklet, full of coupons most can be used anywhere!

Good luck! Our Kmart is not a SuperKmart, and I never go there either, jsut heard about this here and called and they told me yes, not advertised at all here, just word of mouth!! Thanks guys!
I bought 12 candle holers, 24 refills, 16 packs of gum, 6 toothpaste so far. They only double 4 identical coupons however, so you can't double a lot at one time, but can make multiple trips. Ends tomorrow!

Thanks for the list, IndianaMom. If they ever do it around here, I will certainly take advantage of it, especially the Huggies as I'm in the middle of potty-training one and the other leaks out of generic diapers.

I was so bummed because I had no idea that this was going on. So, I emailed the customer service link on the website and this is what they wrote back...

You just go the kmart store on the date stated and they should honor doubling coupons.
