that is where my mom got certified at!!! LOOK INTO IT!!!! There are several places in Lafayette who do it. I would not recommending after you get your CNA- to do in home visits with elderley- You will use a lot of gas and the reimburement isnt worth crap- But as long as you are employed in a nursing home you will probably start out around 9 then move up to 12 really fast!!!!!

Thanks....great idea. I will check into it. Know that I think about it I think my sil was talking about the va center in lafayette doing that for people. Might have to stop there today and find out what's up.

That's awesome! I was telling my husband I would like to be a cna and hopefully move up to a rn. I don't even know where to start though....I'll figure it out someday. Maybe when the kids get to school, I will too...lol.
Hope you have a good night dear. I am going to hop off here and go wake up the kiddos and get moving.
I'll talk to you soon! Probably before I leave, because you know I am going to check in here again real quick .....lol.....

I wish I could go to school or get a job! We really need a second vehicle and I feel like I should be working to help out with that....but daycare is high. That is no joke. And I wouldn't want to miss out on hanging out with the kids too. What are you going to school for?

Ya know I wondered about that. We both smoke and try to smoke outside or on the back porch. But we do smoke in the computer room and try to keep the boys out. But guess it still gets through the house. I really want to quit smoking! Just can't seem to get my ass in gear about it!

lol....I hate being grounded from the park!!

Yeah, one of my friends boy wasn't walking or talking because of his ears. Now since they did it he is just on the ball. It is weird I agree. Jake is not behind at all and started walking at ten months. He yammers all the time. They said he hadn't suffered any hearing loss, so that was good. He just has had ear infections, one after the other for 6 months or more and is constantly sick. This is supposed to clear that up....maybe he won't be so whiny and clingy then ya know.

yeah- but mine will not go to sleep. They keep getting up and throwing toys into each others rooms!!! ARGH!!! I will just have to ground them from the park tomorrow- that always works.
