Nothing grows here but trees and weeds. Most of the trees spread through their root systems, so the most gardening I do is wacking those (and weeds) down. I tried growing vegetables for two or three years... I got a few strange-looking cukes and a tiny watermellon, but that was it -- for all my work!! So, I've decided not to do it this year. I'm surrounded by woods -- I enjoy the trees (except for those coming up in my yard) and the wildflowers. I, too, rake leaves -- a couple times a year. Good exercise. I enjoy the cool weather -- but some of this year's temps have been brutal. Global warming? lol. Good to hear from you!!

Hello. Remember me? I'm a "friend"... maybe not a very good friend, but, nontheless, still on your List... ha. Sorry I haven't been around much. I was much-in-the-need of a break from various aspects of this full-time job of saving money.

I hope you are well and the New year has been good to you so far. I think of you, often, and wonder how you are doing. Saving lots, I hope!!

thanks! it has moved to east of me up into a state park. not quite out of the woods as that whole area is dry, but I don't think it will come closer to my house. Have a friend that lives over there, so I have to call in a little bit
