Market baskets started in Central Ma,I only discovered shopping there 2 months before we moved from there.I did not buy produce there, was gross,meats eh too.But my bill went down from 130 at shaws to 90 at MB with NO coupons. My mom shops there but gets her meats elsewhere

We only have 4 grocery chains in Concord, Shaws (2 of them), Hannaford (1), Market Basket (2) and Walmart. I never go to Walmart,though.
Do you have any Market Baskets in your area? The 2 in Concord are old and the quality isn't good. I shopped there a few times and the milk is always a few days from expiration and the bread is always stale. LOL.
I know what you mean about Hannaford. I used to try and coupon there and could never understand why I never saved a lot. Then I started using Stephanie's system and I realized that Hannaford never has sales on regular items, just on produce, meat and fish. So I've been shopping at Shaws but only for stuff on sale.
Where do you live in MA? I grew up on the Cape but I went to High School in Springfield.
Hi!! I grocery shop in Concord, NH at Shaws mostly. Sometimes I go to Hannaford (to be honest their meat and fish are better quality than at Shaws). But Shaws is definately where to get the best bargins on sales items.
