Hey! I saw your post about being a medical transcriptionist and I was looking into this. I am an ICU nurse and do alot of traveling... I figured while I'm away from home this would be a nice thing to pick up for extra money. I figured I would have to take a 9month (ish) course but there are several and as with every school there are good ones and bad ones. What are your opinions? Do you like what you're doing? Is it hard finding work after you finish school? Are there schools that guarantee work after completing their program? There were a couple schools that set it up in trimesters like college - 42 credits in 9 months - pretty much full time school which I think qualifies for tuition assistance.... these were more expensive than the schools that charged half and it seemed you completed your classes one after the other. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
