Hi Angie -
I submitted my ES for the first time ever back at the end of September and I'm still waiting on my card. I want to do that stuff online too, but don't I need the card first? So I'm still waiting. If it doesn't go through, I'm only out $3.00 for some toothpaste.
I found that the Walgreens south of town is cleaner and friendlier than the one over on Broadway...but I think they might have more clearance items, I'm not sure.
I actually started couponing in August. I still am learning, but it's so addictive. I love being able to stock up on stuff and find the best price. I found a link online that actually lets you compare Walmart/Hyvee/Schnucks and Gerbes sales all in one view. It's nice...but it doesn't look like I have that link on this computer.
I get a little frustrated sometimes because I don't ever seem to walk out of anywhere spending the tiny amts of money that everyone else seems to, but it's cool bargain shopping. I really want to get a good stockpile going on soup and stuff that we'll need through the winter so I don't have to go out so much. (We're good on toilet paper at the moment. I went to WAGS and got the Quilted Northern 2x's roll that was on sale for $4 for like $1.50 ea. so I stocked up.)
How many papers do you get? I have been buying the Tribune and StL papers (I'm from Troy area) and I don't think I like the Tribune as much b/c they always seem to leave out the best q's. So I tend to like to get the Post and use online coupons. I might start getting two Posts and ditch the trib all together.
Do you need pet food coupons or anything? Man, I could use Pampers and Huggies coupons. If you want to swap sometime, let me know.
I think there might be more Columbia people around. I have been sending people to this site. So she's getting good word of mouth advertising
Take it easy! Have an awesome Halloween!
