Default Meijers:Felt Like The Twilight Zone Trip

    Wow..............
Went to Meijers for my regular friday stop and it was deserted.
Not nearly as many shoppers now that they changed the coupon policy
and got rid of MMB coupons.
Also they were not as friendly. The lady at the meat dept snapped
at me that we are only allowed 3 packs of Angus GB for $1.87 LB.
I had taken 4.Then at the checkout the cashier refused my Barilla pasta coupons
because I had picked the white variety(thats all they had) instead of whole
grain. So I told her to take the pasta off.
I used to spend $100-$200 at Meijers on my trip there.Today I spent $50.
They saved me lots of money there..............by not buying anything!
They are gonna see a loss in sales bigtime,Im sure.
They may regret this down the road.

My Meijer was mobbed at 8:30am yesterday, much more than usual. The lack of MMB is not going to hurt business around here. My Kroger was deserted.

I really don't see the big deal about the Meal Box Coupons (MMBQ). Yes, I'm disappointed that they don't have them anymore, but I'm sure that there was a group of folks out there who abused this and that's one reason why they don't have them anymore. They should have limited the number of MMBQ prints to two, just like Target does. If you have multiple computers you could still print more but it might have cut down on it some. I used MMBQ every week, but it was usually just a few $ worth. The fact that the Meijer locations I shop at bonus coupons from $.51 - $.99 up to a $1 is a nice perk and speaking of, we still have the mPerks to use, which for the most part we are able to stack with coupons. I got two free packs of Zantac a few weeks ago by stacking a $5 MFQ with a $3 mPerks. I'm sorry that you have had issues at Meijer. When I had problems at the Cumberland location I just moved to the Fishers location and haven't looked back.

    To each his own.....
but how do you abuse the MMB coupons when there was no limit stated??
    Do the math.........unlimited MMB Q`s or 1 Mperks Q??
    Its obvious.

Putter, people can still abuse the MMB system even if there are no limits... meaning if someone walked into Meijer having 100 of the same MB q and wiping out the stores of all their great deals, I'd consider that abuse. I think the most I ever redeemed at 1 time were 4 like q's, maybe 8 depending on the deal... I know that other's may not see it as abusing the system because there was no limits set, but that's why we each have our own opinions.
