I got kicked out for doing multiple transactions. I was doing 5 transactions at the uscan. 1 cashier had no problem with it - she even asked me about something I had in my cart (is that a new product?). After I had done 3 transactions the other (older) cashier came over and was like, oh no, you can't do that, I'm not letting you do that. I was ok with that - I was pushing it was5 transactions, but I have 5 mperks and wanted to use the BOGO on the Oikos, which is also on sale.
My problem is that she was complaining that I had used a coupon with my mperks on the Quaker oatmeal cups. She showed me the policy, but it was the old one that was out for a hot second. When I pointed out that they had updated it a few days later to fix this issue, she called the manager and was told nope, this was the updated policy. I'll be printing the policy off the web and bringing it with me when I go back. I'm unsure as to what her intent was here - was she going to tell me I had to pay up for the difference because I used a coupon and an mperk?!
Also, the wording on the multiple transactions is stupid - someone should have run it past their lawyers. It says "Transactions cannot be broken up to avoid coupon stacking restrictions." So, if my intent isn't to avoid stacking restrictions, but to use multiple mperk accounts, I should be ok, right? I'm not stacking anything - I'm only using the mperk. The problem is that the policy requires them to ascertain your intent, and the cashiers assumed that my intent was to avoid stacking coupons, when I was not, in fact, using multiple coupons.
The first cashier also said, well, the mperk says it can't be combined with any other coupon, and I said, no, it says it cannot be combined with any other Meijer discount coupon, like MMB "Because that makes sense, right? You can't use two Meijer coupons on one item. It doesn't make sense that you can't use a manufacturer coupon with an Mperk, which is why they fixed the policy right away."
I wasn't going to make a stink because I didn't have the policy in hand, but I will when I return. Also, I WAS in the wrong, as I was doing multiple transactions and I was stacking on the Quaker. I have a feeling it's going to be an uphill battle.
How's everyone else doing with these policy changes?

. It would only last me a year. Or in bears case less .
