I haven’t been shopping much of late and this trip felt so fabulous – I had a lovely cashier (I’m going to keep my eye out for her for sure!). She did make 1 mistake, but also made a couple in my favor, so I’m going to call it a sum win.

I normally would have gone to uscan and rang up the cat generating items solo so I could use the cats and reduce my out of pocket. I skipped it because my coupon nemesis was working the uscan – she’s always telling me I can’t use my coupons! Also, there was no waiting in a couple lines, so I felt ok about doing three transactions.

On the Playtex, the 20 count rang up as the free item on the B2G1free, then the cashier rung the coupon for max value, instead of purchase price of the 20ct (5.99 instead of 3.99). On another site I heard they would ring as 1 36 ct and 1 20 ct for free, but I’m pretty happy with it as is. Also, one of the boxes has a MIR for a Stephanie Johnson cosmetic bag (whoever that is!) with 2 UPCs. I'll mail in for that and probably give to one of my nieces - they love that stuff.

On the Ziplock – I only got 4 of these, I didn’t see that she rang up 5! On the bright said, she did the same max value thing with the coupon, ringing it for $2.99 instead of $2.19.

Ok, one final note. As I was loading my 3rd transaction (this is actually listed as trans #1 above, so it was the largest) a women got in line behind me. I didn’t pay her any attention at first (I was giving the cashier coupons for the current trans). I looked up from loading stuff onto the belt and she was loading her groceries onto the belt. I still had the majority of my stuff in my basket. After trying to get her attention I finally had to say “excuse me! Mame, excuse me!” When she finally looked at me, I said “I’m sorry, I’m still unloading my groceries.” She gave me a dirty look and said something snarky to the woman with her about me! The cashier looked appalled. WTH?!
