6 Ore-Ida French Frys- Used (1) $1.50/3 Q and Got 3 Free- $6.50
4 Silver Palate Cereal- Used (4) $2 off 1 Cereal Qpon= .49 cent each or $1.96
3 Birdseye Chef Choice Vegs- Use (3) .50/1 Qs doubled= .33 cent each or .99
2 Kraft Shreds- $4 ( My $1/2 Store Q was not deducted )
2 Lance Crackers- Used (2) .55 cent Q bonused to $1= .45 cent total or .90 cents
4 Domino's Dark Brown- Used (4) .50 cent off 1 doubled = .67 each or $2.68
4 Season Delight Cool Whip- Used (4) .75 cent Qs bonused to $1- Plus MMB= $1 overage ( makes up for cheese Q I guess...)
3 Riceland Brown Rice- Used (3) .50/1 Qs doubled up to price of item- Free

Total before Qs -$41.36
Total After Qs- $17.03
Recieved $1 OYNO from Ore-Ida
Savings of $24.33 ( I love when I save more than I spend )

Today's lunch break trip was even better

8 TGIF Chicken Wings- Used (4) $2/2 Qs= $1.50 each or $12
4 TGIF Potato Skins - Free when you buy 2 snacks ( For every 2 chickens I got a potato skins free)
8 Ortega Black Beans - Used (4) $1/2 IPs and (2) MMB $1/4= FREE

Used $1 OYNO Catalina from Ore-Ida

Total Before Coupons and Instant Savings= $61.89
After Coupons and Instant Savings= $15.02!!

I was really happy to discover an unadvertised sale on TGIF Snacks. They are Buy 2 Get 1 Free!!

Buy 2 10oz Chicken Wings, or PopCorn Chix= $5
Buy 1 other Snack within specified sizes, I believe up to 10.2oz

Use $2/2 TGIF Chix Snacks Qpon from 10/23 SS ( says good on 10oz Chicken)
- $2.50 for Free snack

= $3 for all three or $1 each!!

For some reason, the Meijer register didn't deduct one of my two Ortega coupons correctly. I had four cans of the beans and two coupons: (1) the $1 off 2 IP coupon and (2) the $1 off 4 MMB coupon. Total before coupons was $2.62. Total after coupons was 82 cents. I pointed out to the cashier that the total should be 62 cents, and he did something--I don't know what-- to fix it. The sad thing is, I totally expected there to be a problem with this purchase. It happens all the time when I try to do anything at all complex with coupons at Meijer. Because I expected some sort of problem, I had the beans rung up by themselves as my first transaction. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed the error.

I went to Meijer today too. My best deal was the Archway cookies. They were 50% off regular price, making them $1.47 per package. I used the .50/2 coupons, doubled making them .97 ea. I bought 16. DH was happy, they're his favorite.

I skipped the Archway Deal this time. I got them for 9 cents a few weeks ago. They are delish!!

LOL! Isn't it funny how a great deal will spoil you on a "good" deal? I was thinking about getting a couple of packs, but decided that .59 ea was too much since I got them for .09 ea last time.

OK Robin, how did you make sure that the potato skins were the free item? Whenever I do a "Buy X, get X free" deal at Meijer, it always gets messed up. The last time that had the 10 for 10 get the 11th item free thing, I made sure the 11th item each time was the one thing I didn't have a q for, but because I did it twice in the same transaction, instead of the 11th item being free each time, the very last 2 (or the 21st and 22nd item) were the ones the register took off for free. I would love to do this TGIF deal, but I'm thinking I would have to do multiple transactions to get it to work out correctly.

Don't be depressed! .97 is a good price for those cookies since they are normally $3 a box. They were on sale a few weeks ago for .99 and there was a .45/1 q that doubled so they were only .09. Of course my store will only double 2 like q's, so I had to keep going back to get 2 boxes each time.
