New to shopping at Meijer and have a ??

Can I use BOTH a MMB coupon AND a manufacturer coupon on the same item(s)?
Anyone willing to give me some pointers on how to make the deals work. I'm in the Indianapolis area.

Welcome Irene, and YES, you can combine a MMB and a MQ to get excellent deals. Usually come Wednesday Indianamom posts some of her deals that she's already done or about to do. I'll watch her many times.

Otherwise, go to Meijer MealBox - Meal Planner | Recipe Finder | Coupons and click on the 'specials' tab and it'll take you to the coupons. Click on the ones you want and print.

When you are redeeming your MB q's, make sure the 'total' drops because on the screen it'll show something like ======> 00.00, however, as long as the total drops it was accepted. Some are having problems with the scanning part, it doesn't always drop your total. Just keep a watch on it.

I always hand over my q's in groups. Example: Campbells soups q's from 2 weeks ago, I gave the cashier my mq's and mb's for campbells only, after they successfully scanned, I handed over my group of q's for another product. I do get funny looks from the cashiers, but politely explained that I've had problems with 'other' cashiers who seem to miss some q's... of course, with a smile on my face so as not to offend the current cashier.

check with your local meijer's how many MMB q's you can use per transaction....some of the q's say only one per transaction, some don't say anything at all how many you can use....my Meijer's allows up to 6 of the ones that don't say one per transaction....

i do belive that i know this subject just about inside and out

ditto for what others have said

however

if u have serveal meijers in one area that u could go to check them all out
in person - because difernt cashiers have difernt rules about the MB Q so now i know that if i have 1 Q per 1 group of stuff i can go to my local meijer with no problem however anything else i go to a difernt meijer

ex-
say soup i have MB Q that says $1 /2
and i have a MF Q for off 1 or 2 soups - i go my local meijer and if i want more than 2 soups then i do seperate transactions
BUT
if the MB Q says $1 / 1
and i have a MF Q for off 2
i know that my local meijer will not accecpt 2 MB Q for the same thing so thus i go to a difernt meijer to do my shopping


and when i shop that meijer i sometimes just ask the cashier if they will accecpt the same MB Q multipule times

something that i need to do more often is keep the end price in mind because sometimes i dont have time or remember to keep a lookout for making sure the MB Q come off the total

and beli8eve me u do have to watch very carefully what the MB Q is for

(i have had it at local meijer have a manager come over and nit pick through all of my Q then personally say that i could use them - then i went back later on that week to the same meijer just to be told that i couldnt do the same deal because the Q didnt match up with the product - so i went to a difernt meijer that day and was able to do the deal with no problem

Qmom doesnt do match ups with the MB Q however i know a great (local to MI) site that does
just pm and i will let u know the site

i have had to call coperate a number of times - i believe it was me with the help from alot of others complaining that is the reason why some Q now say 'one per transaction'

I've shopped at Meijer for non-grocery items a few times last year (right after I moved to Indianapolis) and had issues then with a manager, so I really haven't been back. Yet!
Since I can use both MMB and MC I guess I will try again. I would like to use some of those $1/1 Kraft dressing MMB coupons. I have some $1/2 MC to go with it. Anyone know the current price on them?

The regular price at my store for Kraft dressing is $1.88, last week it was on sale for $1.58. Does your store sale cycle run Sunday-Saturday or Thursday-Wednesday? I shop in Noblesville and it is Thurs-Wed.
Be sure to give the cashier your Meijer Mealbox coupons first before the manu ones.

like i posted before

doing the kraft deal might be a little tricky

cause the MF Q is for off 2 and the MB Q is for off 1

so since u would be using the same MB Q 2 times u might have to go to another store - or go another day - or go to another cashier if they give u any hard times about using a MB Q 2 times for the same thing

thinking over things i think that the best thing would be to hide the MB Q

now when i say hide them - we all know that u can use multipule MB Q for the same item and that u can use them with MF Q - i say to hide them so that u might have a better chance of the cashier not remembering that u already used one for the same item

what i did when i first started using multipule MB Q for the same item is this- we all know that when we go shopping we have A LOT of Q to use - so just seperate the MB Q in ur pile - put one up front and one in the middle of the stack of Q

or now days what i do is i just ask before they even scan anything if they are going to have a problem doing multipule MB Q for the same thing - most of the time they dont have a problem with it

like i said it just depends upon the store and the cashiers

oh and another tip is when u print out the MB Q at the top of the paper it states that u can use the MB Q with a MF Q

(another thing that i havent had to try is to always make sure that u have a MB Q that states 'one Q per purchase' that way if u ever run into problems u can always whip that Q out and say 'if i cant use mulipule MB Q for the same item in a single transaction then how come some MB Q say ' limit one Q per purchase' and others dont')

however the rule that meijers go by is the same rule they have that they can limit how many of an item that anyone buys (wether or not they use Q) gives them the right to limit MB Q
