Are any of you kroger shoppers loading coupons on your Kroger card online then using them when you scan your card at the register and adding manufacturers coupons on top of that???I got this figured out after I posted this....I am so excited!!!! I am headed to Kroger now, hopefully I will come back with some free stuff. I will let you know.

I had loaded coupons on my card and promptly forgot about it. (That happens a lot with me). When I went shopping, I took all my printed and newspaper coupons, got home, looked at my receipt and realized they had taken these as well as the loaded coupons! Happy day!

I tried that loading coupons one time when it first came out and it did not take off my receipt. Should it be automatic or do you have to do anything while checking out? I'm not sure what I did wrong. Also, Kroger keeps many things on sale more than one week. Have you noticed that? I am still getting the Kleenex cheap!

Wow, I completely forgot about the loading of the coupons onto your card! So thanks for the reminder!! I'll have to find out how to do that. So is this in addition to the manf. coupons and also the store ones they mail to you?
BTW, they wouldn't take a coupon that they mailed to me for $1 off 3 fresh vegetables because the cashier said that sprouts and carrots that were in a bag were not fresh!! He said they had to be unpackaged. Okay!! Good thing it's not expiring yet so I can try using it again later. I guess that means grapes or a bag of apples won't count with the fresh fruit coupon either. Might have to get management involved, but I'm just glad they at least took some of them after the stories I've read on here about them not taking their own coupons. I also found that some of the deals listed here weren't in my circular or the store, for example carrots are supposed to be on sale for $.50 a bag and cucumbers for $.50 each. Most of the other items were available. I read the details on my circular and it only listed it as being valid for specific stores, most of which were in the North Dallas area. I'm brand new to this so I'm learning. I hope it's okay to post this stuff in this particular forum! |

I've been using the kroger coupons loaded on the card for a while. LOVE IT!
It automatically takes it off when you reach the end of your transaction- usually when it asks if you have any coupons? it will do it about then. However today I went and bought the Betty Crocker warm delights had the manuf. coupon. there was one loaded to my card and it did not take it off. It did take off the toaster strudel one that i bought though. In the very beginning I had a couple trips where it didnt work but i've been using them for over a month now and it always works. I even came home today and double checked online to read the fine print. It was for what i bought. Freak think i suppose. Oh well. |
