Double Qs up to $1

I just saw the circular for this weeks sales and I am so excited I could burst. Kroger in the Houston area is doubling coupons up to $1 on Saturday, August 15th only. The catch is you are limited to one like item per transaction. Can we say multiple transactions?

I got a bit excited too when I saw that our Kroger in N Texas is doing that Saturday. I wonder tho if it would work a second time that day?

I'm plannin on pulling out all of my $1 Qs and just scanning the store to see what kind of deals I can get. I've already put DH on alert that he's going to have to watch DS that day.

i'm SOOOOOO excited & have been planning & organizing my coupons for 2 days now.
i have about 80 coupons and i'm definitely doing separate transactions & going to different stores. there are MANY free items w/ coupons that i've already collected.

I spoke to my store manager today and she actually gave me a copy of their memo! I thought that was pretty awesome. It says 1 like coupon per transaction is the policy, but the POS system is automatically set to allow 3 like coupons per transaction. My mngr said she is allowing 3, so I guess it's up to the manager.

For any 24 hr store, it says the POS is updated at 12:15 am and that the terminal including self check out must be signed off and signed back on. Just in case you come into one that isn't working with your coupons, you might give a friendly reminder!

Yes, they will double up to and including $1 coupons.

Don't forget to load up your Kroger card with coupons from esaver, shortcuts and cellfire for even more savings!!

I went to my local Kroger today... I had all of my $1.00 Q's ready.... I was only expecting them to double one of my $1.00 Q's but they DOUBLED All of them! I was shocked.... They even doubled my $.75 Q for Duracell Batteries that was already on sale for $2.99......

My total before coupons: $130.30
Total Manufacturer Q's : 24.64
Bonus Coupon Savings: $9.15
Kroger Plus Savings: 29.01
My OOP: 67.50.....

They had chef boyardee on sale for 10 for 10.... I only needed one, I had a Q for $1.00 off and got it for free!
