Default Question about free Scott Paper towels this week

Okay, so I am confused about the free Scott Mega roll of paper towels at Kroger this week (starting 4/15). Is the coupon that we are supposed to use the one that is for 1.00 off of 4? If so, wouldn't that mean that we are only getting .25 cents off of each roll making the final price .75 cents instead of free?? Maybe I am reading the coupon wrong or looking at the wrong coupon altogether. But from my understanding this is the coupon that expires 5/10/09. It says, "1.00 Off when you buy FOUR or more rolls of Scott Long Lasting Roll or Mega Roll paper towels." Does that mean that I have to purchase 4 of the Mega Rolls to use the coupon (meaning only .25 cents off per roll) or is it ALSO saying that I have the option of only buying ONLY ONE Mega Roll getting a total of 1.00 off of the 1 roll making it free???
Sorry...I just want to make sure I use the coupon correctly and I am still pretty new to this.

Default Scott Paper Towels

I would like the answer to this too. I did this deal at 2 or 3 different stores yesterday while I was doing my mystery shops, but started out with just one roll because I wasn't sure. It beeped but the cashiers pushed the coupons thru until the last store when he told me I had to buy 4 rolls. They had to push other coupons thru too so I'm still not sure whether it was right or not.

I think coupon mom didn't know that the coupon we got in our area said u had to purchase 4. Some may have gotten coupons for 1 roll in other areas. At least that's what I'm thinking.

I am going back Monday if we get the $.50/1 angel soft TP like she stated in the list!

Thats happened to me before here in Florida. Our sales list is from Atlanta, GA so eventhough a good amount of the deals are the same, sometimes our coupons or the sales are somewhat or totally different. Even our prices are a little higher sometimes. What I do is after I print my list of the items I want to purchase, I check my sales flyers or the internet flyers and make sure that it is a valid sale and I have the appropriate coupons. Like that I'm not flustered at the store trying to figure out why I'm paying more than I initially calculated.

Thanks for the question and the feedback. I went to Kroger's yesterday and became confused. I decided not to try the Scott deal, intending to come here and get clarification. Once again the forum has answered my question. I am so grateful to you all.
