Default Current Promo

Hi!! Well I haven't made it to Kroger (payless) yet this week. I did have to make a quick stop today though for diapers. Got a pack of Huggies for $3.49. But i was walking around and noticed a lot of the current buy 10 get $5.00 off items aren't in the ad. How in the heck am I supposed to plan if the don't advertise it all?? Plus my husband threw away my ad so I have to look it up on the internet. I like having the copy in front of me.

So has anyone gotten anything that wasn't in the ad on the sale?

What I have noticed very quickly with the buy 10 get $5.00 deal is:

-it goes on for several weeks
-all the deals are the same each week BUT what's advertised for the deals in the ad change
-some new items may be added to the current deal

What I do is I've gone in and "price shopped" took my binder and went through all my q's and made match ups. I purchased necessary items right then and then worked up the deals at home for a quick return shopping trip later. Yes, it's a little more time consuming, but Kroger has so many more deals then they advertise that it makes it hard to plan accordingly.

I plan on going in today to scope it out! It's a little hard with my 1yr old though! I'm looking for those Chex Mix or Cheerios Snack Mix to be on sale.

Stopped at Kroger today to scope out the 10 get 5 off deals. Most of them aren't advertised in the ad so I wanted to see what else was going on. Went ahead and bought some items

2 Fruit Rolls Up
5 Cheerios/Chex Mix Snack Mix
2 Toaster Scrambler
Armour Meatball
Spaghetti Pasta

My OOP: $4.32 whoo hoo
Saved: $26.24

Second trip...I decided to go back tonight without the kids. Now it wasn't a planned out trip, so I know I probably could have done better. But flying by the binder of coupons, this is what I got:

3 Nesquick Milkshakes
Beechnut Baby Yogurt Juice closeout
3 Kroger Cheese
Spaghetti
Hefty Trash Bags
4 Gerber Grad Diced Fruits
12 Jars Beech Nut Baby Food
2 Froot Loops
1 Frosted Mini Wheats
Chex Mix Snack Mix
3 Activia Yogurt Drinks
2 Welch's Aqua Juice
Brownie Mix
Fruit Rolls Ups
2 Chex Mix Bars
Cheerios Snack Mix
Eggo Waffles (NO Q )
Kroger Baby Puffs
Daisy Sour Cream
Gorton's Fish Sticks
Texas Toast
Armour Meatball
5 Jacks Pizza

Total OOp: $48.47
Savings: $69.45

Not bad I think without going into the store with a plan!

thank u so much! the pringle sticks weren't on the buy 10 get $5 off. they were reg. $2.99 and they doubled the $.50 off q. i had went to walmart before kroger and they were way more there, so i'm glad i waited to check the price at kroger. i'm finally beginning to see why everybody hates walmart and loves kroger. by the way, you done a great job too. i can't wait to come out of the store with that much and do that good!

It wasn't wipes. They were diapers which are $9.99. The tubs of wipes are 2 something there and the bag of 180 is 6.24. Cheaper at Target.
