Default Is Kroger the same as Highlander?

We have a highlander about 20 min. from where I live. I was told it was the same as Kroger, but I could not find it on the Kroger website. The Highlander I'm talking about is in Rockton, IL, close to Rockford, IL. I've never been there, but am VERY willing to drive the 20 min. if I can get those great deals you all get! Is Highlander the same as Kroger???

Do you mean Hilander? If so, then yes. They are owned by the parent company and have the same ads for the most part. Starting tomorrow they will be having the Mega deal(buy 10 get $5 off). They also double coupons up to $.55.

Website is here, Hilander - Home .

Yes it is, if you follow this link to their store locator page : Kroger - Find Stores - Advanced Search
It will list it's stores at the top. Happy Shopping!

Yes, Hilander is Kroger. And yes it is worth the trip for the saving. Make sure you get your Hilander Shoppers Card and load it with Shortcuts and Cellfire for added savings.

Ok, now I have a question on that.... So if you put the manufacturer coupons on your card, you can use that same manufacturer coupon in the store, correct? Can you do that and still only buy 1 item? Like say I have a coupon on my card for a box of frosted flake cereal .50, and I have the same coupon in my hand. Can I buy just 1 box of fosted flakes, and get $1.50 off? (.50 for the coupon on the card, .50 for the coupon in my hand, + .50 doubling?)

Yes you can. However I do always go into the store with thought that I am only getting the deal of just the doubled MQ. Reason being the E-coupons can be inconsistent sometimes and not apply when they should.

This can be easily fixed by contacting the subsequent company but should be noted as I prefer to have my deals work as I planned and not in the aftermath.

This works better with the Shortcuts on your card. For example a few weeks ago my Kroger in S. IL had General Mills Cereal on sale 3 for $5.00, I used a Coupon for $3.00 off 3, a Kroger register coupon for $1.50 off 4 and a smart cuts for 75 cents off one box. Bottom line was it cost me .355 cents per box.

I know this is an old post but wanted to put this info out here in case anyone else is having the same problem.

Yes, as it was already answered, that Hilander is in Roscoe, IL and is a Kroger store. The problem is that if you put in the zip code on the Kroger site for the store locator area on their site that store will not come up in the search. It's very frustrating. I have emailed Kroger more than once regarding that problem and it still is not fixed. Because of that error on the site it also will not remember that store as my favorite either. I hope they fix it soon.

To locate the store on the Kroger site however, you need to enter in the street location and city/state. Enter Hononegah Road and Roscoe, IL and that store will then come up for you on a search.

    Hope that helps.
