    Default Kroger Fuel Points???

My DH just doesn't understand why I am in Kroger so much, and every time he scans the card at the gas station...... NOTHING!! NO DISCOUNT!

These points must be tallied after coupon total because I aint getting none?

It takes me a looooong time to get $100 after coupons.

    How about you?

My gas points are figured on the total before coupons. So for example, this weeks shopping trip, my bill was $180 before coupons and $22.25 after coupons. I received 180 fuel points. You might want to check that your husbands Kroger card has the same number of the one that you use at the store. I know last year my family realized that some how, we had 3 different card number floating around the house. We closed two of them and just use one card now to maximize fuel points. You can also go to Kroger.com and check your fuel points total for the month. Hope that helps. =)

I think the points are after sale prices but before coupons. I usually get $0.10 off, I have just gotten $0.20 off a couple of times.

I've never even heard of 20 cents off. Around here we get 10 cents off per gallon for one gas purchase per $100 of groceries we buy. It is definitely pre-coupon prices, but I believe IndianaMom is right about it being based on sale prices rather than regular. I usually make it to 1 discount, but rarely hit the 200 point mark for a second discount. Gas prices are going up today, so hubby is out now hoping to hit our Kroger station to use the 10 cent discount before the prices jump.

We can get up to $1.00 a gallon off if you spend $1000 in one month, that will not happen with us though!

Nice! We're capped at 10 cents off. If I hit 200 points, it just makes it 10 cents off per gallon for 2 fillups instead of 1.

Ours is different in Central Ohio. We get a discount based on how much we spend per month on up to 4 fillups for the next month. Best I can tell spending is based on sale prices and before coupons, but after subtracting the "double" coupon amount.

This is what I can remember:
    Spend $350 Get $0.20 off a gallon
    Spend $550 Get $0.30 off a gallon
    Spend $750 Get $0.50 off a gallon

There is a difference if you fill up at the Krogers gas station vs. Shell. At Krogers you can redeem all of your points at one time. At Shell they only deduct 100 pts at a time. For example, yesterday my preprice before scanning my Kroger card was $506 after my card was scanned it must have been around $300 after my coupons it ended up being $163. So they do look at your precoupon price for the gas points. My 300 pts plus my 100 from earlier weeks shopping let me redeem my gas @ Krogers for a $.40 discount (400 pts)! (You couldn't have done this @ Shell) Be forewarned though they drop off at the end of the month. So if you have any to redeem you better use them or you forego them! HTH

Check to make sure that your card numbers match and the correct phone number is connected to your card. Just a thought.

We use Kroger's pharmacy to fill our prescriptions and they give us gas points of 50 for EACH separate prescription. So if we have 4 different medications, we would get 200 points. I know for awhile they were also doubling gas points for buying gift cards. ($50 gift card = 100 gas points). Not sure if they still do that. I live in the Great Lakes area.
