Default Kroger no longer accepting internet coupons

I just got back from my Kroger and was told by the cashier that they have a new coupon policy. As of today my Kroger will no longer accept any kind of coupons printed off the internet. Has anyone else had this experience?

I was so flabbergasted that I went ahead and bought the two items because my e-coupons had already gone through. I forgot that I also had newspaper coupons that I could have used with my purchase instead of the internet coupons. So I ended up paying $2 more than I should have all because I was so stunned.

kdstyles13 what state are you in?? If you live in an area that has a big competing store, you may want to stop by the Kroger Customer Service desk and make sure they have your phone number. Tell them to call you when they change their policy back to accepting IP's. Until then, you will just be shopping with their competitor that still accepts the IP's. You might also want to mention you are posting it on the message boards and community chat boards, so other couponers don't waste their time at that particular Kroger. You are just helping them out by spreading the word, so they don't have so many upset customers! I would also return whatever you just bought and let them know you will get it cheaper w/ your IP's at the other store. Be sure to use your sweetest voice!

    Default fake internet coupons

Wal mart will not take certian internet coupons they look at the address where there from I have all kinds problems w/ walmart and internet coupons. They say they are fake. I think the cashier told me the ones from Facet dr del rio something like that. To common for fake internet coupons. People are not always honest.

I find this hard to believe since they have a link to coupons.com directly on their home page.

Well, I live in WV and my Kroger here does not take them either. Neither does my Walmart. I have not tried them yet at CVS or Walgreens. That has been the policy here for quite some time according to the stores. I hate it because I just printed a bunch of IQ's and can not use a single one. Does not make any sense to me.

That is a store policy, not a Kroger policy. I just got back from Kroger, used 3 IPs, no problem.

I'm glad you posted that lol. I'm going to Kroger after work today. Was prepared to leave everything at the checkout if they refused my IPs. I saw this post and went straight to the Kroger website and saw they still linked directly to coupons.com, thought to myself "if true, someone should mention this to the site admin..." I did get a bit of a hassle several weeks ago over IPs and they told me that K was getting ready to "crack down" on us couponers. If they do I'll just spend more $$ at Meijer
