I'm wondering what the Kroeger coupon doubling policy is in different regions? I shop at Ralphs (owned by Kroeger) in So Cal. Here the doubling policy is that they will double a coupon that has up to a 50c face value. Coupons with a face value between 51c and 99c will be increased to a value of $1. BUT they will only double ONE like coupon per customer. (And doing multiple transactions isn't generally possible to get around it, at my stores anyway. I even had an assistant manager refuse to double my coupon one time when I left the store and came back half an hour later after doing some shopping elsewhere.)
I love the double coupons and am able to get some great deals with them, but it's a big pain to have to visit multiple stores or return multiple times on different days in order to be able to stock up on the deals. So I'm just curious whether Kroeger has the same policy everywhere, or whether their policy varies by region? Thanks! |

It varies by region. I'm in the Atlanta Region and they double Qs up to 50c. They do not increase the value of Qs from 51-99c up to 1.00. I've never had a problem with them doubling all of my Qs for like items. For example I had 8 of the weber grillmates Qs for .50 and they doubled all of them in the same transaction. Sorry to hear that your store only doubles one like Q per customer, but at least they do increase the value of your Qs that are 51-99c up to 1.00.

One I go to, doubles two like coupons per transaction(sometimes they will let me do multiple transactions up to maybe three). Will double up to $.50 coupons.

Here in mid Michigan and some Detroit areas we get double $, so up to $2 off!
![]() You can use up to 3 alike q's, unlimited total q's. We have like 5 grocery stores in a mile stretch though, maybe that's why? |

I live in Mid Michigan and I have 2 Krogers not too far from my home. 10 minutes to the West they only double to .50. 20 minutes to the East they double to $1.00. I just found this out last week so it's a no brainer which Kroger I'll be shopping at from now on.
I took my 13 year old with me yesterday to get groceries and she was having a fit about my coupons. That is until she saw how much I saved. AND how much the woman in front of me saved. She was truly amazed. |

The Owosso store doubles to $1.00. I had always went to St. Johns before. I haven't tried multiples beyond 2 since I'm still building my coupon supply and I had just used a lot of them at Kmart this week.
Oh and if you haven't done your grocery shopping this week the Owosso store had their milk for $1.59 a gallon. Limit 3 I think. Additional gallons were 1.77. Still a good deal. I'm not sure why that store was cheaper than the others but I didn't mind. They also have Tombstone pizzas on sale for 2.77 each. I had $1.00/2 q's so it made them $1.77 each! Bought 4 of them. Would've bought more but I didn't have anymore coupons. I'm saving toward their rebate on the utility bill. Last edited by momto2girls; 06-12-2009 at 11:32 PM. |

The Krogers here in the DFW area triples Q's up to $0.39 and doubles up to $0.50. You may use up to four Q's for like products. So if I were buying 5 Chex mix and had 5 $0.50 Q's they would double 4 of the Q's and one would be at face value. One store used to triple up to $0.50 because they were trying to pick up market share. Tom Thumb ( owned by Safeway) is like Ralph's and will only double the first one
