Fred Meyer 2.1.09 - 2.7.09

Can we add a Fred Meyer sub-forum to the Kroger forum? Krogers out here in the Pacific Northwest are called Fred Meyer. I think Fred Meyer was originally its own chain and then got bought out by Kroger, not sure.

At any rate, they do have a few good deals this week when you combine with coupon. Some that I found at a quick-glance were:

$1.00 Riccola, $1.00 of 2 = $.50 bag
$1.00 for 1/2 gallon of milk
$2.00 GoGurt Yogurt, $.75 off 2 = $3.25 for 2 boxes GoGurt
$2.99 Purex - I'm sure there's some qs out there for this still. I'm all stocked up on the Xtra for a few weeks back.

Anyone see anything else?

Fred Meyer was it's own chain and was bought out by Kroger. QFC was also bought by Kroger. They each run different ads and don't appear to associate with each other. Neither go by Kroger out here but the store brand is Kroger. The only reason I know is because my DH use to work for Albertson's and was in tune with the grocery news when that happened.

I'm sotcked up on most things for now but the past three weeks they have been running milk at 2.00 a gallon in some form (1.00 half gallon or 2.00 for gallon). That is the best price I've seen on milk out here.

I would love to see people sharing info about Freddy's I do shop our safeway, but unless it is a good deal it seems Freddy's is less expensive. I don't have a great deal to share now, but I plan on trying to learn this savings coupon thing using Freddy's. Thanks for your ideas I hope to share some soon.
