can someone clarifyKmarts new double coupon policy

I am wondering if they will double my folgers mfr Q? Folgers id a super coupon item.

From what i know K-Mart is doubling every wednesday and saturday until the end of april . Your Folgers coupon will double as it's considered grocery/drugstore item. Following rules / guidelines apply. You're coupons 1.00 and under will double.

You must reach $25 in grocery and drugstore merchandise (before coupons)

•
You must have a Shop Your Way Rewards Card (give to cashier first, before you scan any items or coupons)

•
Scan all items before scanning any coupons, to be sure you get to $25

•
Kmart will double manufacturer’s coupons up to $1

•
Limit of 5 coupons per day (you may use more, but only the first 5 will double)

•
No cash back or credit given (no overage)

•
Limit of 4 of the same items

•
Excludes B1G1 Free Offers

If it works and I can find $16 more dollars of merchandise to purchase this could be a great deal.

2 @ $2.99 less $1 off 2 coupon, doubled = $3.98 divided by 22.6 oz's = 18cents an ounce. Thats not bad, my last deal was around 19 cents an ounce.

I am not positive if this is everywhere but in my experience the $25 must be in items from health and beauty or grocery (food) I do not believe pet food or cleaning supplies or non food items in the grocery section such as baggies, paper plates etc will count toward the $25. nor will items from other departments.

I'm fine following any rules a store wants to set, but I just don't get the logic behind Kmarts new rule. Isn't $25, $25 no matter what department you spend ot in! I guess this is there way of curbing the extreme couponers in their stores.
