Now that it's almost 2010, I can't stop thinking about KMart doubles! They said after the first of the year so let's hope it will be soon!!

I hope they won't be excluding so many areas next time. The nearest one to me was two hours away in one dirrection and over 4 in another. What has the Atlanta Georgia area ever done to Kmart to be treated in such a way ?

My co-worker and I were just discussing this today. I'm hoping they do one soon as well, but I'm not holding my breath either. If my local K does hold true to the 10 q limit I will just strategically plan a trip a day, cause it's near my work, and use 10 or so q's each time.

HaHaHa! I got the 10 coupon limit one week in my Kmart. After that week the lady (we only have like 2 or 3 cashiers at our kmart and I always seem to get the same one) never said a word. I have an extremely intelligent and mature 7 year old who has his own coupon file. I let him buy dog/cat treats for his grandma's dogs and cats during doubles b/c they made a stink about the 10 q limit. Needless to say he showed the lady which item went with each coupon while I stood far enough away to let him do his thing then he counted his change when she handed it to him and took his bags proudly and left. He was sooo proud of himself for buying stuff for the doggies for next to nothing and I was proud of him for helping me prove the point that it really is easier to just deal with me and my 20 coupons than it is to deal with my son and his 10. I'm really not a bad mom just proving my point while giving my son a lesson in savings!
To the topic at hand though... I absolutely cannot wait for the next doubles! Better be soon! I haven't been getting any good deal for a couple week. (or maybe it's just the sticker shock of Christmas that's blurring my memory)

I asked my manager and he didn't seem to know of any even planned.

At my Kmart the register won't double more than 5 coupons for any given day for one person. It knows who you are because you have to use your rewards card to get double coupons.

Last year I did not have a rewards card and was able to get double coupons. I wonder if that is an individual store policy?

I've never gotten to attend a double coupon event! I hope they do one soon!
