KMart Coupon $5 off $50 or $10 off $100

Ok so on their website they have this coupon $5 off $50 or $10 off $100 of grocery purchase. My questions are as follows, on the coupon it says "total is calculated before taxes and after other discounts have been applied"

1. Are coupons considered discounts? I would assume not but wanted to check.

2. What is considered grocery? I'm guessing Health and beauty wouldn't be included, but perhaps coffee would?

Those are a few that popped up when I saw that. I am sure I will have more questions to come about this doubling event. I am so excited.

I used the $5/50 coupon today and most certainly did not spend 50 in groceries. Most of my purchases were health and beauty and diapers and such. It took just fine for me. Give that coupon to the cashier first and THEN give him the rest of your mfr Q. My total was under $50 after coupons and it still took.
