    Default Introductions 2012

First of all here's the "old thread."

    http://forum.couponmom.com/just-chat...oductions.html

Some of us oldtimers may need to update just a bit. Please feel free to introduce yourself again or add any updates you may so choose.

Newbies post a quick "hi" or tell us a bit about yourself or how you coupon. No wrong answers here and members love to be supportive of each other.

Now to update me a bit.......after 4 LONG years in Florida (we still miss Tennessee), hubby got a new job which moved us to Connecticut. We hope to have a new "permanent" place to live within the next couple of weeks. Being in a hotel "suite" just does not work for my family.

My little preemie girl is now 5 and a half and will be starting kindergarten when school resumes here....Aug or Sept not sure which. Most people cannot believe how she started out. We are still working on a bit of physical muscular strength and speech, but we have been truly blessed with how much we do not have to deal with even though the road has been a long one.

Come October I will be working for Stephanie for 4 years now and having fun trying to meet any of the "high goals" many of you have to save money. To me every one of our members is a true "extreme couponer" where I just do OK.
Moving to a place that is even more expensive than the last move will be making me have to learn even more from those of you "pros" who happen to just have it all together.

By the way......I never did get all of those boxes unpacked from the last move......and this time when we find a place it will be temporary so no need to get everything unpacked yet again. More sorting and sifting will definitely be in my near future.

    Blessings and Hugs, "Angel"

I remember when I was new because everyone else had been here at least 3 months before me. LOL. Now I am an old timer. I am a working mother of twin boys 16 years old. DH proposed after 3 weeks, we married within 6 months, and now have been married for 21 years. I have been couponing for 5 years after a coworker casually showed me the couponmom match up lists. I was hooked. My coworker rarely uses coupons and I don't even think she belongs to the forum. Welcome to all new and old.

I'm originally from Browns Mills, NJ, and moved to Indiana 8 years ago.
I had been using the CouponMom main site for several years before I stumbled upon the Forum. I learned how to really coupon from some of the best on here. I want to pay back the knowledge I was given and help others so I try to post a lot of my shopping trips. I also am so excited to see the upcoming coupon insert previews so I try to post and share those too. I def saved well over 50% from what I used to spend before the CM Forum started so I have saved thousands of dollars thanks to Ms. Nelson. I'm a SAHM with 4 children ages 10, 9, 7, and 5, I used to be a pharmaceutical chemist/department manager and using coupons and planning trips keeps my brain exercised. Plus I have met some wonderful friends on here.

I stumbled upon Couponmom forum a few years ago, only about a month after it was started. I saw a site advertised so i checked it out and they wanted me to pay $20/month and I felt sad, I was trying to save money not spend it like that. So, I googled coupon matchups and found this site and never looked back.

I am a working wife, mother of 3 (DS25, DD23, Lilmama 21), grammie to 1 super grandson who is 4 ½ months old.

Welcome to all, old and new, and I'm looking forward to re-meeting some of our members who haven't posted in a while.

I have been here almost a year. I am far from a super shopper,,but I am definatly a smarter shopper. I check those sales, check the coupons and end up saving a bit every week.
This morning I used gas points I got from Tops Supermarket, and saved 40 cents a gallon on my gas. Saved me a bit. I can live with that. The cool thing is they give you extra gas points every time you use coupons , so even more incentive to coupon. Yeah, we may rarely if ever get our groceries for free, but cheaper gas I can live with.

This forum has helped so much with all the tips and suggestions given. My goal is to some day open my own Bakery. With couponing helping to cut my costs down.
