To comment on the pregnancy outbreak.....as most of you know, I had 6 children (no twins) in 8 1/2 years. Callously rude people would ask (as if my personal life was up for discussion) "Don't you know what causes that?" Not missing a beat, I would look them in the eye and say "Sure I do, why do you think we keep doing it? Too much fun to stop!"

Speechless mouth opening after that.....ask a stupid question, don't be shocked at the answer you get.

I'm sure those that have fertility issues also get tired of people's inquiries. Seems like asking about your reproductive life is more acceptable than asking about your weight issues...geez....

Sorry I havent been on but the site is so slow I cant get pages to load, or even the reply button. Busy looking for furniture. Found a great metal frame bed (vintage iron post style) for $169 on Target.com, queen size. Hoping its still there in a month when I want to order it because the King and twin are sold out, and the full actually costs more. ? .

Did the acnefree face wash deal @ Target, buy two for $5.99 e get a $5 gc. Bought 4 as this is my facewash I will use and buy anyways. Also got the prilosec with another $5 gc. Bought a pack of goodnites, andone pull-up, paid .95 cash. Used the $15 in GC and $4.50 in coupons!! That was awesome. I was going in there specifically to get that facewash anyways. =)

Some folks have no filter. I had a visitor at work tell me "You must be a good cook....cause you're fat" to my friend she said"Now you can't cook, you're too skinny". I would have been seriously offended but this chick had such a speech impediment I can't even describe it and was a few bricks shy of a wheelbarrow anyway...but that is nerve. I also had a community neighbor ask "Deb, aren't you ever gonna have that baby?".......while I was holding the baby.

How about "I heard one twin is fertile while the other is not", when they KNEW my twin sister had 2 children and I had been trying for 4 years to have a child. NOT helpful.

I guess their mother's never taught them "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all!" My DH's aunt a few years ago before her wedding looked at me one day and said "Oh Chris, you've really put on some weight!" Than at her wedding said I was underdressed...needless to say I don't like her very much, lol! Well going to keep my spirits up, for my sake and my sister's! She did hear from her CF specalist who said he will get a second opinion from their on staff GE, and go from there. Glad she heard from him, since his voice alone is a calming and reassuring force for my sister. DH is picking up our niece and nephew from his sister's house (their other aunt) and bringing them here since his sister can't watch them the last day they are up. Then tomorrow afternoon I will be brining them back to NY and taking my 3 with me as well to spend time with their GPs. Thinking of hitting up the zoo while I'm there too, suppose to be very nice this weekend Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Morning everyone, I don't know why people think the way they do and that brings me to DH. He was so sure that if he had some of his workers come over and close up the opening that the squirrels were getting in that the problem would be taken care of. I guess he thought they would just nicely hop out when they removed the siding up there but that's not what they did. They just ran to another part of the attic can you believe it? DUH! I am done! I have called an exterminator. I don't even care that it is going to cost 250.00. DH had his chance to "handle it" now it's my turn. ARG, men.

Some people really do need a filter. That has to be frustrating to deal with. Fortunatly I don't have to deal with it too often.

cmulchansingh - lunch out with family sounds great. 102 that's awesome!

    Keeping all in my prayers.

A company showed up yesterday afternoon to start taking out the trees. Thought they would call first set appt etc. Good thing I called the house from work. DH was just going to let them start with taking down the 5 trees. I told them to start with 2. They wanted $4100 *GASP* for 5 trees. They are over 30 feet tall and some of the branches are over the roof so not really something I can do by myself. They put in a few hours yeserday and I woke up to the sound of chainsaws and chippers at 7:30 am. They're still here. The cats are in hiding. Note to self ..... avoid the neighbors for a few days. At least I should be able to get some grass to grow after I fix the soil and I won't have to clean the gutters as often.

I finally got to printing some coupons and put together this weeks shopping list. Next up is flylady tasks and off to work. I'm all set for family fun day tomorrow.

I hate it when aquaintences or complete strangers make comments (unsolicitated) about personal stuff! HOW RUDE! I cannot help thinking back to the lady who felt free to reach over and put her hand on my belly when I was preggo with my DS. Without missing a beat I reached over and put MINE on HER unpregnant belly too. Then I waited for the reaction =p Her GASP and what do you think you are doing comment opened the field for me to say, EXACTLY my point maam. What do you think YOU, a complete stranger, are doing reaching over and putting your hand on MY belly.

On the other hand, I love it when people who sincerely care about me offer SOLICITED aid. Right now a DF who has been a personal trainer and worked one on one with people to improve their physical well being through diet and excercise is working on a meal plan and excercise plan that she thinks will help me shed some of my unwanted pounds. What a BLESSING to have a friend like her! Its friends who listen when you whine, and only offer help when you reach out who are the true gems. =D Its so nice to have friends who understand the difference between venting and whining, and a call for help =p
