    Default Titantic-Me time

I am going tomorrow night by myself for some much needed me time. I am getting the IMAX 3-D Experience
$16 ticket and don't even care that it cost that much. I rarely get to treat myself, so I may even get popcorn too!!

Anyone else blowing money on a movie we've already seen?

I think its great that you value yourself enough to pay full price to see something you want to see. YOU DESERVE IT! In the excitement of couponing it often seems to me that we short change ourselves, because we get into a savings rut. I think EVERYONE should splurge now and then! On another note.. STILL havent seen titanic. Never could wrap my head around it cause I already knew then ending.. the boat SANK =P

DD, if you lived here in Indy, I would buy you a ticket! Yes,the ship sank, but there was a beautiful love story on the way down.

My DH worked on the set of that movie - we were so lucky to be able to go down to Mexico (Rosarito area) on weekends and explore the Titanic replica, to watch them film...amazing to see the props and details..even the chaise lounges had "Liverpool, England" brass plates. All of it was amazing - because we saw so much - we also see the flaws, there's 2 that stand out to us....one with land showing in the background when they were supposed to be at sea and at the end with characters floating - we see it was nothing more than a pool, with black curtains and painted on stars - only about 3' deep. There was a Jacuzzi right outside that curtained in area to keep the stars warm. The whole experience was memorable and fun.

I won't admit to most of the other crappy movies my husband was on - ewwww Last Action Hero - one among several...embarrassing.

I am planning to see it in 3D... it is one of my all time favorite movies and I think it'll be incredible. When the movie came out, my kids were in elementary school and the two oldest were involved in a huge project. They made a small scale replica of the Titanic... Small scale meaning it was still larger than my kids and took up about 1/4 of the class room. They had the rooms done with beds, chairs, wall papers and peanut people, LOL! Those kids did an amazing job! I have pix but still no uploads for me here...

Ahhh Titanic. Saw it 12 times in the theater back when it first came out. I was a weird 17 year old.
